Great article on Monster Cable

Its funny, but it isn't a great article.
Anyone have the balls to actually TEST the cables to something else instead of just saying that cable is cable and wire is wire?
Those test have been done - controlled, scientific tests in ideal listening environments and hudreds (thousands?) of test subjects from amateurs to recording experts.

The facts are known - which is why this topic is a running joke to many of us, but the self proclaimed "golden eared" don't give up easily.

The one exception to this, is about 8 inches of wire running through my old Roadmaster box. It was poorly shielded, and I couldn't strip it without snapping off literally every strand my hands.

Wire = wire = wire

Monster Cable = Knukonceptz = weldingsupply.com

The only difference is price.

LOL, that's why i love me some KnuKonceptz!!!

Monster wire was always OVER priced in my opinion....

And DAXX i think is the same way.

o yea and i'm pretty sure there is a difference with types of materials used and so on so forth, it's just i don't believe that some of these prices should be legal.

i dunno when i do an install i dont wanna see cables lol
depends on the kind of install, u can make them to actually showcase the wires instead of hiding them. i personally dont like the whole "wireless" look of having say a false floor with an amp in it and not seeing any wires running out of the amp, if you do it nicely, seeing the wires looks better than not seeing anything:driving:

welp as a daily driver type vehicle i would disagree. a pure show car that wont be carring kids or golf clubs its cool., but to do it to just show wires would be g@y unless there would be a theme to it all

lol u would be very suprised what i can vision, my first taste of "high end" car audio outside of a magizine was the begining of a back seat driver car that i seen from a stripped down version of pontiac lemans into the first perfect 40 rta score car and the biggest point differental win in a pro class in iasca world finals history lol. only way i would show cable is if it were a theme car and the cables and wires looked like nerves and blood vessels then some wicked crazy fiberglass "body parts" to set it off.........i seen the "windows" and such but to be perfectly honest wires and rca cables bore me, as an installer i already know that they are there and they all pretty much look the same.

They need to make LED lit wire insulation......that would be all blingy and cool. Then people would show them off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif You could wrap them around your audiobahn amps and make them like 3 times as bright......or make a christmas tree out of them. Ooh, or you could get a VW "bus" van and hang them from the ceiling like they used to do with christmas lights! That would surely get ya some creativity points //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I think installation integrity might suffer some though.....

I should do that with my antenna feedlines, that are already running up on the ceiling...

hell, why not light the antennas up...nothing like 9 feet of glowing neon! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
