After purchasing my Sony DVP-NS975V w/ HDMI output (which the cable was not included) It has a female HDMI end and a male DVI end

I only had a choice everywhere I turned for $99-$109 1.5 meter Monster version of this cable

I found this exact cable @ http://www.pccables.com for $14.95, and went double the length for $24

Yeah, last time I was in Radio Shack a sales guy tried to sell me a 50-ft roll of Monster crap. He had the Monster "value points" memorized, and quite well.

IMO "The First" is very natural sounding cables and made a big diffrence in my system...On the other hand,monster cables sounded too congested on my setup atleat there wasnt no hiss lol.. stay away from them unless if you want a descent s video cable.

Yes....shove an article written by someone who has the same opinions as you, which has no real facts in it, and is basically just a rambling joke, rather than an experimental argument which would have any case against Monster Cable actually not being better than any other cable.
