Great 4 channel amp 100rms AU$350

Hey everyone

I'm new here.

This is my system in my corolla 2006 hatch:

Headunit: Pioneer DEH-8350SD

4ch amp: jbl gt5-a604

Speakers: 4 alpine type S, components in front

Mono amp: Hifonics Brutus x14 1500w

Subs: 2x type S running at 1 ohm

Battery voltage: 13.5v when it's cranked

I think i need to upgrade my 8yrs old speaker amp. Looking for a 4 channel x 100w rms maximum price of AU$ 350.

Please note the speaker amp is located under the driver seat.

I have soundstream RFM600. 4D and pioneer GM-D8604 in my mind. But i don't know which ones better in sound quality and have no idea what the other options are.

Need your help

if you want it small, then go with the alpine.

I don't really mind about the size, sound quality is the first priority.

The jbl amp i have is huge! Fits perfectly under seat

to be honest, different speakers and a better head unit will give a much bigger sound quality boost. Your amp should already be good sound quality wise unless you want louder. Type S are pretty bad sound quality wise in every setup i've heard they are utterly disappointing, would be okay for average joes but for someone that wants great sound, they should be avoided like the plague.

Your head unit only has a 5 band EQ and no time alignment either.

These flaws are a much bigger problem than your amp.

80 prs is one of the best sound quality head units on the market.

JBL p660c or image dynamics ctx components are a good step up.

Wow 80prs is about 600 bux! Didn't know a better player can make a difference!

its the internal DACs and processors to start out with. The sound tuning options turn your listening experience from just hearing music to experiencing music.

A ppi 900.4 would do wonders for you. Got a bnib one if you are interested.. Run active if you so plz.

Never heard of this brand, but that looks good. What's the price?

It's $178.61 with the postage to Australia from Amazon. We don't have this brand in AU, do you think that's a good idea to get it? because of the warranty

For the price cant beat it. Mine has the extended warranty on it. If times arises Im selling mine for $120 or just let it sit in closet LOL

Your amp is fine like said. Work on everything else first.
