looks good man!where did you find that volt meter? also hows is the alt working for ya? im looking into one for my grand prix

my EA 200 amp alt is fine...my volt meter is the same in Red to match the dash...idk whats goin on with it though...its not wanting to cooperate.

it used to chill at like 15.6 when i start the car and fluctuate depending on my volume now..the sub is out...and for the last week is has not moved from 12.7...so something is deff messed up with it. i would understand if it moved but it just stays at 12.7

ya i bought one from team H and K. lights up red should be here any day now. i want to change all my dash lights to blue though. did you buy the alt of there website. for some reason there website is freezing up on me.

Voltmeter is from Stinger. Got it off eBay a few years ago.

Alt works nice. Got it direct from EA. No dimming with 2000 wrms.

I like it and congrats. How do the ribbon tweets sound? Harsh at all? And IMO unless you plan on doing alot more white in your car I would have color matched the pods to your door color. Seeing as they really stick out to the everyday eye.

IMO, pods look terrible. YOu are putting in all that work, and they arent even close to looking like they belong in the car. Id be re-thinking all that work, and doing something that blends and flows with the interior.

Like the volt meter though, was excited when I saw that, and though man this is gonna be nice, but it went downhill quickly.

Yeah I did it top match the upper half of the doors. They are actually light gray. I might change them to dark gray.

Ribbons sounds awesome to me. Not harsh at all. But so enveloping.

Soft modeling clay. Can be found at hobby shops.

Not offended at all. Like I said this is my first try. Also the tweeters are almost 4 inches deep, so really small pods are not totally possible.

I think you should have gone with tweets in the dash because you have some depth up there, and just some regular 1" soft dome tweets, aftermarket 5 1/4s in the doors then some 6 1/2 in the kicks and done a 3-way system. I think it would sound better and give you a fuller range of notes and also some height with the tweets on the dash. But that's just me. As as long as it sounds good to you though, it's all that matters.
