The ECU doesn't regulate the voltage. The regulator built into the alternator does that. If you need to change the voltage, you need to have the alternator rebuilt However, if you raise the voltage too much, the other components in the car won't like it. In that case, your best bet is to add a second alternator to the vehicle.

 
i did talk to to different company's that rebuild alts and both said that my particular vehicle is regulated by the ecu so that's why i am looking for someone thats had experince with this vehicle.

regulator is in the puter as well as in your liberty
