gp3000d vs hk4000d

I was wondering what would be better for my BTL's

2 gp3000d's @ .5 ohm

or

2 hk4000d's @ 2ohm

my electrical will be up to par "hopefully"...and im even considering 16 volts some time in the future

Ive heard nothing about good reviews about the gp3000d and heard MIXED reviews about the hk4000ds (the usage, they dont make power, i need tons of batteries, they'll blow easily..etc)

Im just torn between the two..

The GP3000 will give you more power on 12v.HK's are known to be current hogs so they need alot of battery power to back them.Out of the 2 the GP would be the better choice IMO.

I have 2 GP 3000's on 3 IA DP 15's and it is unbearable to sit in my car. I have never owned a more enjoyable amplifier. For the money you pay, the performance really can't be matched by another amplifier. I liked the 2 I had so much that I bought 4 more and procured 4 more for other friends. The GP 3000's are absolutely badass.
