Goverments money spendings...?

Many of our subdivisions (upscale ones) have private roads, police, and fire depts.

That works for upscale places, sure. I don't see a low-income area doing such a good job of building private roads and whatnot. The government, when it works right, is a good way to pool resources and get services to everyone. I agree.

It's hard to say I could do a better job as I will still have to negotiate with other lawmakers.

It isn't like China where they will execute you if you do a poor job. China is an extremely effecient governement...I don't know how effective it is, however.

I have no idea when to take you seriously... but I think we might have problems with things like roads, education, and so forth if they didn't overstep their bounds a little bit, eh?

I don't think he was that serious....or he did not consider the other services government provides.

Such as conservation. The private sector won't conserve forests and parks.

If as in governemnt you mean george bush, i think their is enough people out there that hate him and would join it lol. If your talking about the other forms of government i can see what u mean.

when the county goes down im heading up north to Canada because hey they might not be as rich but well they know how to get things done and dont have retards leading the country. The government is set up for the rich and the rich only middle class and anyone else dont matter we are the *****es of the unitedstates. We work hard to get taxed more and make lesss money but yet some people dont even make enough money to get taxed so then wellfare comes into play and thats our hard earned money going to lazy puds who dont do crap. At the shop I worked at a guy not going to mention color said that he cashed in his foodstamps and some other things he was given for free to go and buy his system. He had installed in his escalade on 24's alrdy 4 alpine type x subs ina custom fiberglass enclosure with 1000w amps and 2 kinitec 2000 batts. Honestly our country is amazing but going down the drain. If things like that man can get away with crap like he did we ourselves are screwed

8.375% sales tax . do you have any idea how many dollars in NYC change hands a day?

millions a day in parking meters

$4 to $8 per tunnel or bridge

health dept cracking down on everybody, most businesses getting fined thousands for bs

police do nothing but hide and write tickets

I blame politicians and unions. Roadworkers get $35 an hour for waving a flag and the roads look like minefields. The Daily News used to have a "pothole of the day" column. Cops are lowest paid in the country. Firefighters get nothing but a pat on the back. Sanitation gets millions in OT to clean an inch of snow but their all chillin in Dunkin Donuts. I dont know.
