Actually you wont. A recent study showed that Mac users spend more time waiting for the wait icon. You spend more money on the same internals. Hope you like your nice case.

Im spending the same amount or less then the OP did and am getting an Asus G55 with 16gb ram, 750+gb hardrive, second gen i7, GTX 580 card, much better cooling, and maybe windows 8 lol

Yep, I will take my HP 3.4ghz, 12g of ram, 2TB of HD on my AMD8 and Nivida Gforce with 2g of ram over anything Crapple has to offer....

I have a lot of apple products and I like them. At work, we use pc's. It's not a big deal and I don't try to nut hug. They both have their place in the world. Macs are simpler imo, not much you can do to **** up. PC's are great for gaming, active directory, and cheaper in price. I have Linux running on my machines along with windows just in case I can't do something on Lion. With mac you're really just paying for the name and ease of use, again imo. Linux is my os of choice but I've owned the mac's longer than i've been using linux so I just put it on them instead of buying new computers just to put linux on them.

To the kid that was trying to brag about being at microsoft or whatever and only being 19, **** off. I do the same **** everyday in the air force, same age, and i'm not an assistant, i'm an actual system administrator and have been doing it for a little over a year now with no degree. You aren't special so get off your high horse. /rant

We're about to start a 2 week long ,24hr exercise, working 12hr days straight thru it all. Just found this out this morning so I haven't had a pretty good day. I've been blowing up on people and then erasing everything I type out just so I don't seem like a **** and take my ****** day out on people. I just couldn't take that kids ****. He's someone's ***** and it seems like he's proud of it. I actually kinda feel bad for him now that I think about it. lol

Apple's OS = poop in a basket

Apples Hardware = very impressed

Windows user for life.. but I do have an iphone, ipod and ipad. Apple does make great equipment but I can't stand their ******* OS it's stupid

I love how slick the macbook airs are.. but you best believe I would instantly reformat and throw a fresh windows 7 install on that bish

(yes I have seen and used the asus zenbook, also a fine piece of machinery)

love the ipod touch... macs though, drives me nuts when people say apple > pc. just goes to show most dont realize their are differences between hardware and software.

and a PC can easily run high-res? ^^
