Got Some Microwoofers!

Go to wal-mart and buy a RC car and make a wall and use something to power them at home. Thats what I did to a 4 logitech monitor speakers in a big as* toy escalade. Did a couple of burbs and it was loud. There should be a RC Car DB Drag, it would be kinda fun to use stuff 20 times smaller and pull some #'s

I was thinking if they sound good to buy like 50 of the aura 2" woofers, and run then in a 4cuf box tuned to 36hz!

I think those speakers and the Aura 2" microwoofers would likely sound very, very different from one another.

I would have to agree, those look pretty cheap. From the speakers they remind me of speakers from a cheap radio or one of those iPod stations, oh wait thats where they came from.......

I would have to say that I wouldn't expect those to do anything awesome, while the Aura 2" I would say something different....

I just hooked one up free air on 25w at 4ohms on my deck. i could hear a little bass from them. I think i am going to skip this cardboard box. and go w/ a 1cuf MDF box, and find me an amp.

I think you are going to be seriously disappointed... They aren't even close to cone area of an 8" so there is no way.... Plus the excursion is ultra limited so there is no way they will do it...

I was at work yesterday. and two of those apple ipod docking stations w/ full range speakers got returned. The disposition was to scrap them. Well most likely it's just the base unit, not the speakers broken. So I took all four speakers out, grabbed the DMM, and the coils read 4ohms on each one, so single 4ohm. So then I grabbed cardboard box, and drew some circles on them. I haven't cut them out yet as you can see in the pix. That is what I am fixing to do now. I don't have an amp to power them with. but i know some guys to do.
On to the questions. Four 4ohm speakers will wire down to 1 ohm right? I am going to go to RF to get the directions of how to wire them. then borrow a 400.1 1ohm stable amp from someone, and power this little sealed enclosure. If anyone thinks they can design me a ported box, feel free. If these things sound good enough, I am going to keep them to show off in a nice little sealed MDF enclosure. If they cant be ported. I have no specs on these. About how many cuf if i go sealed?

ONO, worst typo ever? I know some guys with some amps. After I build the mdf enclosure. I am going to amp them. My g/f had a meeting in little rock today, so I dont have the digi cam, all i have is my slvr.
