How is the sound quality on the LI? I've pretty much narrowed my next sub to a 10" LI or 10" OZ matrix elite. Got a 750watt at 2 ohm amp and a .6-.7 sealed enclosure already in the car so I need a sub to fit in those specs.

LIs sound awesome for as loud as they get. but one thing to note, they dont like small enclosures. It gets loud in my 1' cubed box, but i know that its not goin at its full potential. So the Li wont like the .7 cubed

They are only rated at 500 watts, so 750-800 should get them going. Alot better than the beat up 10w3 with a falling off dustcap that I have now.

I'm sure it will get more than loud enough. The 10w3 with 150 watts gets more than loud enough, but does it sound good. I don't want sloppy booming bass.

no worries... this sub is not sloppy or boomy at all. But i really would reccommend going ported, at least make a bigger box, that is if you have room of course

Its a nice custom fiberglass box molded into the car. I rather reuse it, since it fits perfect, lets me keep almost all my trunk, and sounds good with the JL. Maybe I should just get another 10w3.
