Ok well heres the deal, ive been friends with a kid for almost 10 years now, and a few months ago he got rearended and his whole system was trashed(nothing fancy). He got a new car and i agreed to let him barrow a pair of memphis 10"s in a sealed box i had laying around, 4 daytin 8"s, and an amp until he could get a new setup. Well about a month ago he met a girl whos well known around town for being a hardcore drug addict and scumbag and since then he hasn't returned/answered any calls or texts. He has used drugs before and i hear he has started to get into heavy drugs and is becoming addicted. It has come time i need the amp back badly, i could care less about the speakers but if im going to go threw all the trouble and after what hes done to me and how hes fucked me over i minus well take it all back but i have no way to get ahold of him. Should i go to his house while hes asleep and tear all my equipment out? I dont wanna risk getting arrested. Should i go to small claims court? Might be cheaper to just buy a new amp than that. Do i get my homeboys to rough him up until he agrees to give me my stuff back? Im lost here guys, any clue what to do? Thanks for any help!

Confront him like a man and demand you gear back.(if he has not smoked/snorted it up yet)

Do you have any proof that the gear is yours?? recipts and what not?

You know, a little street justice could be good as well.

IMO, and around this jungle we call USA: the streets govern themselves. Court costs are outrageous, you'll save time and head aches.

I'd find out if he's gotten rid of the stuff yet, and if he has: for every $1,000 worth of gear he's sold/traded, I'd break a limb of his.

The fun route, confront him face to face, beat his a$s, and make him give your ish back.

Homeboy's roughing people up can turn ugly quick. Unless it's controlled, no chicks, no babies, no young kids.

If all your ish is in his car, smashing a vanity/opera/small window and unlocking a door is rather quiet when muffled by a T-shirt wrapped screw driver. Back seat's aren't that hard to rip up, or even take out if needed. (Bring a Socket/Ratchet set and some pliers to make taking seats out easy. Make of his car should tell you whether to use metric/standard.)

ALL of the above, is my $0.02 on your situation. I'm sure I didn't help much.
