Got my new wire in

Its Flex-A-Prene brand 1/0, got 50 of it for 60$ from a welding place local. Shits badass, and easy to work with/flexible. Should handle an AP3000 just fine. Yea, i bought some more wire from a member here today, ill be sure to compare it. Ill probably use this wire for the power runs/batts in rear and the other wire for the big 3 and wiring the batts under the hood, since theyll be short runs.

According to my digital scale, this wire weighs like .8lbs a foot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif 20ft weighs 17 lbs.

A few competitors around here have been buying their power wire from weldingsupply.com, they have really good prices and use a superior class K copper, not the cheap crap you find in car audio wire. They have discounts on rolls of 25-49 feet and a bigger discount for 50+ feet, plus offer several different colors for those that want that.

That site has decent prices if you buy over 50ft, i read that flexaprene was like the top brand for welding cable, but i dont know much about it other than i like it. Its almost as flexible as the rockford 4 gauge, and more flexible than walmart 4 gauge, lol. That walmart wire is so stiff i feel like the shits about to crack when using it, had to use some on an install today :/

Ya welding cable will do it.. I get 2/0 pretty cheap.. but my dads the welding forman for the second biggest pipeline spread in the country... LOL.. wire and connectors galore
