Got My HT Subs ( 4 Fi X 10's ) pics

Not sure why you would need 4 of them for HT,
Two very good reasons.

1) Ability to run them in stereo.

2) More cone area = less distortion for a given output level.

Dedicated home theater is a lot more demanding of the woofers than most of the mobile setups you'll see out there...reproducing 15Hz convincingly isn't easy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Agreed.

Plus there is no cabin gain like in cars. There is room gain depending on the size of the room but it is usually relatively minimal. Ports are tuned to subsonic levels and boxes and ports become HUGE. Overexcursion becomes a common problem at low frequencies so more surface area is usually a better solution than more power.
