It's nice. It fvcking blows trying to modify it. Took me a week to figure out my hids so they didn't throw any codes.

No surprise. the germans aren't known for there electrical work.

But still a nice fvcking car.

I ignore half the builds on here because i don't care for what they own.

30% is legal in Tn. I ran 5% all the way around and 25% on the windshield (yes, the windshield) with 5% boarders and was never stopped... that was a dark car!! haha

my jetta is easy as pie to work on. the Bentley manual is loaded with pics and descriptions.

and my bmw has a rebuilt motor with 7,000 on it. so haven't had to touch much on it.

Md differs on tucks and cars. I think cars are like 30 or 35 all around. Trucks can be darker on rear windows but fronts must be 30

I've got 20 all around and bit been hassled but I know people who have had to remove theirs after being pulled over.

I've lived in NC & TX. Not sure what the limit is here in TX but I have a truck with 5% all around. I haven't been bothered in the 2 years since I moved here. Back in NC I think the limit is 35% with an exception for truck/suv rear glass. I had a z28 with 5% all around for several years & was never cited. One trooper did mention it was too dark & if he caught me speeding again he'd make me strip it on site. So I guess basically as long as you aren't breaking traffic laws they don't really care. Fair enough, IMO.

I'd love to live in NYC or Cali someday but never will. Way too many laws against firearms/vehicles.

I here it is dark as you like in the back and 30ish for the fronts. The cops are just being ***** if they write a ticket for it though. they usually don't care. My buddy tested his and his was .75% in the back, 1.5% in the front, 30% on the windshield with 2.5 strip across the top for contrast and hasn't had any problems except for backing up. You can't see out of it to save your life.

Back in NC cops nor troopers will bother you just for tint, even if you've been pulled for a traffic violation. But if you act like a douche or running your mouth they will cite you & make you either strip it on site or have it towed. If you're nice they're nice, act like a **** they'll act like a ****. Fair enough, IMO.

i just texted my buddy who got a ticket for tint. he said you can have all your windows 27% in colorado or the back windows blacked out and the front windows at 70%.at 75% tint your more than likely gonna get a ticket for a new car if they check it. most vehicles come from factory with 70% tint. new york should drop it to atleast 40%.
