Funny..I was going 5 over (70) after I got my ticket just not to piss people off.

So I am on my way back to my house from my parent's and the speed limit is 65. The thing is, noone goes it. The majority of the people go 70, and several venture on up a good bit further. Almost every time I make this 70 mile drive I get behind someone going 75-80mph. That was the case today. I was the last vehicle in a line of 3, but I was also going the slowest. Had the cruise set on 79 and the vehicles in front of me were gaining. Next thing I know I see blue lights. Great.
Pulls me over, informs me my inspection sticker ran out yesterday, and asked if I had ever gotten a ticket before. I responded No, which is true. He said "Well looks as if you just got your first two!"

I tried getting an inspection sticker the other day but they wouldn't let me because of a crack in my windshield. It ran out in December. Its out 2 days and the douche gives me a ticket. On top of that, the two people I was following were going a good 2-3 mph faster than me.

Oh well.

I think I can go to driving school and get the speeding taking care of.

Anyone have an idea how much an expired inspection ticket sticker costs?

the cop was a douche. not because he pulled you over, but rather for that comment right there.

you just got your card pulled honestly. and it just a luck of the draw. although i was informed by my traffic school instructor that if you get pulled over for speeding and you were driving as fast as everyone else, just tell him you "were following the flow of traffic". not sure if this would get you out of it (at least in CA), but thats what she told us.

either way, thats pisses me off a bit. pull me over, tell me what i did wrong, and give me my ticket. dont try to be mr. funny, just stfu and write me my ticket.

the HWP and sheriff are the onley 2 that mess with me and my tint.. the locals dont even look my way!!
im 5% all the way around. widshield 50% with 10% sun strip way past the as1 mark.. roomates a tinter so freeeee tint fooor liiiife!!!

These guys do a service most of you would fail miserably at. Yes some give them a bad name(happens in EVERY profession), but they are mostly good people. I find these threads just as retarded as "how do I get laid?" or "My mommy wipes my *** for me" and the ever popular "I need legal advice." So the guy had a bit of attitude. After the 10th snot nose punk you pulled over on his way back to school, you'd be a bit perturbed too.
