Got my Ebay/Paypal account hacked!!

So i've been on vacation this week and I get back last night to check my checking account I have a -$700 balance so I am like what the hell???!! I then go to my paypal account to see that someone hacked my ebay and bought a Sony Vaio laptop and spent $1,199.99 and that it has already went through and everything. The guy gave my name but a different and unverified address and when I spoke with paypal this morning they filed a claim for me a guaranteed that I would have all my money back in 3-5 business days after they investigated it. My nerves are absolutely shot I have not been able to sit still and I am just going insane, I know that is chump change to some people but I am poor and it put me into shock lol. How much confidence do you have in paypal to think they will get my money back? He purchased it on the 12th so today would be the soonest buisness day he could ship the item and I emailed the seller and told him it was fraudlent and I am hoping maybe he can just give me a refund but that is likely im sure......lol well that's it. Thanks for reading and any input anyone has!

I've had my ebay account hacked twice, but ebay caught it before the purchase went through. Your email was probably hacked too if they weren't caught. That sux dude. I hope you get stuff resolved quickly

I had my ebay account hacked once but I keep my password for ebay and my password for paypal totally different. My bank account as well.

They will get your money back though, they are good about that.

tis the reason I no longer have paypal. When my ebay account was hacked they listed 1000's of items for sale and I got stuck with the listing charges. Was about $400 that I never got back...

9/10 it's usually not "hacked" .. On your home machine is your password saved in IE or FF? Most times it's a bot client on your machine and the bot owner is just querying your pstore.

meh, I guess to the average user. This isn't really considered "hacking" though.

All i'm concerned about is getting my money back, they said it was an unrecognized charge and the address wasnt verified that he 100% guaranteed my money back in 3-5 business days, oh and if you just want to say your ****ed or something stupid like that then please dont even bother to reply to my thread. IE and they arent saved I usually have to re-type my passwords everytime I log in to anything.
