got my deck jacked yesturday!

I went into work yesturday at 4 pm. I work at FedEx. I get out at 8 pm to find my passenger side window bashed in, and my deck gone. Whoever did it wasnt too graceful. They didnt bother trying to pick the lock on the door, and didnt have the tools to remove the cd player, they mostly just ripped off the panels, and ripped out the screws holding it in. I think they were afraid i had an alarm cause my hood was popped, so im guessing that was the first thing he did after he busted the window to cut the power, but i dont have an alarm anyway. I might have sent him a curveball though, i had all the rca's and remote wire hooked up to the deck indicating i had some stuff in the trunk, and i put a chain on my trunk from the inside so it cant be opened unless you remove my backseat, which is a pain in the ***. But i took all my subs and amp out about a week ago, so i wonder how long he attempted to open my trunk. I hope this frustrated him. I kinda wish he would have been able to somehow get the trunk open just to realize he did all that work for nothing. But oh well, he just got a cd player, and most likely caught on video bc there are security cameras all over the parking lot on FedEx. I will find out more today at work once i talk to security.

You sure it isnt a inside job? It's probably one of your co-worker friends. I mean who goes to FedEx to jack a random car from just looking outside. People only go to drop off a package or pick up something there. It doesnt make sense to come pickup/drop off a package then "Holy shiet I gotta have that deck!". It sounds like a setup to me.

yea man that sucks, ive been jacked twice too i know how u feel... unfortunatly parking lot cameras (nore often than not) dont get alot in parking lots.... not to mention even if the cam was on him the cam might be to high or somthing to even tell who he is..... i hope that isnt the case here tho! i hope u catch that mother ****er! sadly he prolly already sold it to get his rocks

I got my car broken into on my trip to Louisville. I left the face on and doors unlocked so I guess I deserved it. I am kind of glad I didn't lock my doors because the 11 other cars that got broken into had smashed out windows.

Didn't get my deck:

Took a tool bag, but no tools (they left them laying around)

XM radio controller (no wires, annetnne, just the pioneer box)

CD Case with ~80 CDs

and my house keys (when I live over 200 miles away)

Anyway, I just let you know I feel for ya, because I am in similar circumstance. They didn't steal my deck, just broke it but I was able to fix it.

Just so ya know, when staying in Louisville, KY do not stay at the Galt House. You may think it is nice because of the nice hotel and nice parking garage but they will break into your car!
