Got my 15's metered

I couldn't find a TL, only one shop had an AC so thats where I went. I don't know exactly which AC it was, It was silver and about the size of a home audio reciever, it had a red display on the front, with a silver mic on a tripod. I think it metered sq also. The system is two 15" 07 Kicker CVR's in 7 cubes @ 30, 108" port, double baffle, tons of bracing, facing up in my 98 chevy extended cab truck. The amp is a hifonics bxi1206d running at 1 ohm. electrical is 4 gauge with a 1000cca battery. The people at the shop thought it might do a 145. I metered with the engine idling. I played music, throw it up by lil jon. The first run was sealed up at the dash. It did a 150.2. Next was windows down, mic on dash. 152.8. Next was in the driver kick, passenger door open. oh yeah I know its high. I think it would do a 150 tl in the kick though. the 15's aren't sealed, the cabin was when it was metered.

If you read, his CVR's are in a 7 cube box tuned to 30 hz with 108 square inches of port area..

the AC meter at my local shop read a 153 when I was doing low 140's.....so it all depends on what mic

i've seen AC's 2db up from the TL/AC190 and then again I did a 151.3 with an H2 12 and 2500d in a small ported box in my Lumina on the AC once haha, in reality that did about a 142 so there is a lot of wiggle room. I can do a 58 on the AC, but my TL only reads a 47.

Nice plenty of port and decent amount of powerkeep up the work and you shoudl only get louder.

Plus that is on music, a music tone right at or 10Hz higher than your box tuning is gonna be louder again so who knows what you could do on the TL playing tones..
