Got metered today!!!!

It isnt bad, certianly enough for daily listening. But equaly as loud could have been had with less room being taken up and he has a lot more potential on tap.

By a lot I mean 3-4dB more.

For daily listening...not really noticable to the ear at that point. For getting loud on the mic, people will pay thousands of dollars to gain 3dB.

You could do much louder. I did a 140.0 on the new TL w/ dd box @ 32hz and stock electrical. I had a 12" RE SX. Little work and you be higher.

Box is 7sq ft after displacement tuned to 32hz.. mic was silver and about 6 inches (whoa lol).. he used a sine sweep not a specific tune.. windows and doors were closed along with just let me say that my car is not built strong at al the door panels want to fall off and I flex my side windows where they wanna come off. either way though i would like it more loud and thats what I attend to do.. I'm just letting you guys know where its at

Not bad but like fryman said 3-4 db is a big SPL difference not so to the ears.

Example leaky prefab setup i hit 142 with 2 10s. so its all relative to how much you put into it and like he said some people spend thousands on getting 3-4 more db.

best of luck. I hope to hit 145 with my single mag. we will see tho.

originally he said it was connected to a computer. BUt what he described was the Audio Control Mic. If it was silver and hooked to a box that read the Score out in a red LED display it was the audiocontrol mic. makes the score even less credible even if it was the AC 190 its still reads 1-3 Db higher than the TL.

What is the primary Soundoff Organization that holds competitions around your area? If its MECA/DBdrag/USACi, then there is no way they should get away with that being that all three of those orgs. use the TL, only IASCA, NSPL, and SLAP use the AC mic.

I was doing around 140 with a 10 It had a lot more potential too.
