That ***** man. I haven't been laid off for a long time now...and thankful.

I've been fired, been laid off....

But never a good thing to lose a job. Just look at the upscale of it. Now you have a new opp to go out and get yourself a new job.

What did you do and how long were you there? Any idea why you were laid off? Were there others laid off as well?

it happens man. work is super slow in the south with these ******* NWO ******* that are trying to destroy american. for years Louisiana economy was strong. they new they needed to flood the market with oil to kill the south they managed to do it but it wont last long. trump is going to change that.

overhead crane operator. and shipping and receiving. we were a steel processing center. but business has been very slow since last oct. they layed off 7 guys since then.

they will smile in your face and plot behind your back. only thing i can do is think that is was for the best.

the company never had good intentions of their employees from what ive witnessed.

just over 1.5 years. they fucked me on my 1` year raise. said they were on a performance salary increase halt untill things picked up. every meeting we had they were always talking about business going down or getting dlower. most of the stuff we did was stock since the slowness. not alot was for customers. i seen it coming. ive been looking for a new job for a while.

I got laid off a few years ago right before Christmas and haven't looked back....

just **** because i have 2 kids. they didnt even let me finish working out the day. what a bunch of assholes.

so you know what i did?

filed a complaint with the epa on them for dumping chemicals down sewer drain. washing/power washing machines out in the yard that have years of crud ,oil, hydraulic fluid all over them. the ground is saturated with oil and chemicals. they throw away their paint cans and spray paint cans etc. osha violations. ill get the last laugh

I'm quitting my job at Kmart and applying at a local battery shop that's hiring. I know a few people who work there. It's where I got my battery bank from.

There are always jobs open. They might not be the ones you want to do, but I hate when people say they can't find a job. I'm not even 18 yet and I've had several real jobs.

They prob mean well paid jobs....not some crappy job such as McD's that they want 15/hr. You want 15/hr go back to school get a better education and go find that job. Fast food isn't made to make a career out of it but rather get that person exp in the working world and a foot in the door. Although very few stay and become managers, etc.

I'm starting to see well paid jobs leave this country as well. Slowly but surely.
