Got Jacked !!

My VISA debit card # got jacked and several subscriptions to ADULT websites were charged to my account. Also, VISA theft protection called me and informed me there was a couple of pre authorized but still pending charges worth $350 through paypal. Sounds like whomever jacked my # tried to buy something off e-bay. But those have been halted and will not be paid luckily. So they cancelled my debit card and I'm supposed to talk with my bank when they open tomorrow.

I called the internet Pay companies (all 3) Segpay.com, paycom.net and another I can't remember and have the subscriptions shut down and my money is en route back to my account and they are supposed to do an IP trace. All in all I would say the LOWLIFE would have had me down over $500. Luckily I'm not going to be out anything other than waiting for a new card. I'm seriously considering NEVER buying online again.

I would think most CC fraudsters would be out to make some money off stuff they can buy and resell instead of rubbing one out on the net.

I'm not entirely sure it was done electronically. The other day on trash day I had to put some more trash in the trash container that was already out at the road. When I lifted the lid I noticed that it looked like someone put more trash in it. I didn't think much of it but I'm thinking maybe it was MY trash but the bag was just torn open and they got my old statement or something. Im buying a shredder tomorrow.

Or it could all be for not and it WAS done electronically. Not sure at this point.
