what engine and ****** in the ranger? i have owned both of those cars including a lexus gs300. need advice, let me know.

The GS300 is a totally different breed. I don't see where that would come into play.

Ranger is bare bones V6/auto. Nothing special about it.

Lexus, although the wheels are tacky, IMO.
Agreed, but you can't argue with brand new tires. On down the road, I would probably go with a nice staggered look, but that's after I have worn out these.

Both come with all factory parts, including wheels/tires.

It's a no-brainer, then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I doubt you'd have much trouble selling the ones that are on there now to some hoodrats once you've got your use out of them.

danger ranger looks bad. Lexus looks like previous owners took care of it. Which means regular maintenance as well as cosmetic. And thats always good for the longetivity of the investment.

Mehhh. I am not to much of a fan of either. Why are you stuck on only those 2?
Limited options in Vegas. Not a lot of clean used cars. Most of them are buckets.

I chose the SC400 because it's got RWD, a sleek design and gobs of power if I so desire to use it.

I chose the truck because of the utility factor. If I ever needed to haul something, I have a bed, and the extra cab portion. Going offroad is a big thing in vegas, and worst case scenario, I can always play around with it (nothing too crazy, since the lift is mainly a mall crawler look and without 4wd, I'd like to have someone with me with a bigger/badder truck)

Both get pretty similar gas milage, and both are relatively cheap to insure.

plenty of 2wd prerunners in vegas though. the ranger with the V6 Vulcan engine is a very stout engine. my ranger has the same setup and going on 200K+ miles without a hitch. my dads ranger he bought new in 98 and its still going. the v6 engines are stout and have plenty of upgrades. i wouldn't put too much weight in members here, most buy cars and then regret their purchase later because they were stuck on a certain look or style and did not think it out correctly.

they are both superb vehicles with a long list of aftermarket, but in the long run which one do you think you will have to invest more on maintainence. there are other factors like previous owners and most importnant maintainence history. do the owners have records? to be honest you can get that ranger for $6k
