i was able to deaden the ENTIRE metal of the door (well, there are some areas i couldnt reach, but basically all the metal in the door is deadened) because the outer plastic panel comes off with about 6 screws and a little brute force //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

gotta love it.

id of taken a pic of the trunklid, but the battery on the camrea died. basically, i did the same thing, put i poured 1\4 gallon all over the lid, and smoothed it out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm about to do this myself. Lid is resonating like crazy.

I already did the floor and sides of the trunk with SS Spectrum, but was going to use Damplifier mat for the lid. Any particular reason you used liquid instead?

i used a layer of matt, then a layer of spectrum.

the trunk lid was off, and putting matt on was a pain in my ***. i had liquid, so why not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The spray on stuff was easy all you have to do is mask it off with tape. That stuff I used worked excellent!!! After I cut the wood for the enclosure im gonna spray the rear deck, thats the worst spot in my ride for rattles.
