Got bored...made a box on my new build table.

Yup made a 2.5 net box for my 15" Mag. The new box building table works wonders. So heres a pic of the table and the end results....this is just a preliminary build. Still need my comps, other amp and my new head unit. My car can't be painted until January since the body shop is all backed up right now so i thought i'd start playing around

Suggestion for the table: slap on there a flat MDF or some smooth board...and for the bottom same thing. It'll become a shelf for ya on the bottom. I built one myself identical to yours about 5 yrs ago. Otherwise, looks good.

thats my plans for it...i don't have a truck so i'm gonna wait until one of my friends can help me out. I used today and it was so very nice. Especially when compared to my old 2 sawhorse set-up

What you want to do is go to the depot and get a solid core door. I picked up a 36x80 solid core fire door for $53 and change. Thick heavy solid table top, I'll get a pic of my build table/table saw out feed in a minute.

Or look for a scratch & dent counter top, should be even cheaper and have a formica top, so it'll be pretty durable...

eh.....i'll either grab a sheet of MDF or cabinet grade plywood. both are less than 25 bucks here. Plus i use a circular saw so i set it right cutting depth all the time so i don't have to worry about cutting too deep.
