Got another speeding ticket. How can i get out of it?

Well, this is like my 4th ticket in 3 years.
I got a warning letting from the DMV a couple months ago telling me that they would suspend my license or something.

So im kinda sweating it.

I was doing 83 in a 65, but on I-5 thats the flow of traffic. The ***** was on a bike and as soon as i passed her she put away her gun and jumped on the bike. i never admitted to guilt if that matters at all.

I know about asking for proper documentation for the speed gun and when it was last calibrated, but i really cant afford to loose my license with school and work. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

any way i can get out of this ticket? excuses?

easiest way is to stop speeding.

I know. But in Chicago if I understand correctly, 1 is nothing, 2 they send you a notice saying you got 2, 3 in the same year you get your license suspended and all that. You might be able to beat it by going to court. The 2 times I got stopped, they did post some number of the radar that was used. If you went to court and the cop didn't show, do they throw it out?

and thats what im hoping for, that she wont show.

No one wants to help. We want you to loose your license because you can not drive.

Get a radar detector, I think you could use one.

Make up a fake work order from a garage somewhere far away , that says that your speedometer is out X amount, and bring it in with you in court, and say that you had your vehicle checked out after the ticket and they found the speedometer was out say 30mph and they repaired it. Also helps to put down what code it is in some scanners.

Better yet.

Open her hood and switch over the plug wires on the distributor, and pencil over some of them... it will misfire like a SOB and might not even run.

And the judge will ask you why you didn't notice something was off when you were going with the flow of traffic and still couldn't crack 10mph on the speedo.
