got a third ticket, am i going to lose my license?

Yep - a valid license with the inability to get underwritten by an insurance company (especially since almost all 50 states have compulsory 3rd party coverage laws now) is basically a meaningless thing excepting its use as a form of ID.

Everyone has already gave you the answer. Traffic lawyer quick. I doubt you will loose your lisence, but your insurance will be crazy. I racked up 6 in less then a 2 year period with my 97' transam. Later my lisence didnt get suspended untill 8 tickets. But thats when I learned my lesson. Sold the car. Got an Audi A4. I now get better gas mileage. I drove a year on a suspended lisence and never got pulled over. Now I got my lisence back and am up to 18 months without one ticket. I learned not to speed. I have a top of the line valentine 1, I don't even speed though. Just use it for extra protection to know where the leo's are hiding.

1 ticket a year is too many according to Michigan. the average michigan driver gets 1 ticket every four years or something. i got my license suspended for 1 month for getting three tickets in three years then after i got off suspension it was restricted for the next 11 months. it all depends on the laws. look them up.

here's an idea. if you can't afford to get your license suspended, don't drive in a way that might result in that.

x2 ^. I didn't have enough responsibility to be driving a 400 horsepower transam. Then I grew up and realized to look at gas prices, and the ticket costs. Drive slow and dont give the pigs free money ftw.

retarded question retarded common sense
Why? I was going in a 45, and it slows down to 30 immediately behind a curve and down a hill exactly where the cop was hiding. What am I supposed to do? Slam on the brakes and have the guy behind me rear end my car?

I already consulted a lawyer the previous 2 years and it did nothing for my benefit, I paid the lawyers twice as much as the ticket and not to even have it dropped.

I'll see what I can do

Well by law, you should be slowed down to the posted speed before you pass that sign up. Sounds like the cop was just trying to be a dick. I got a similar ticket, actually mine was the same ****ing thing. Just pulled out of my house, and on to the main road to take the girl home about 2:30. Come down a hill, doing 53 in a 45 which imed. dropped to a 30. (Speed trap) Well that cop being bored as **** clocked me right as I passed it or she says, I went to court and she never even showed up. Ticket got dropped.
