Got a TENS unit from the doctor a couple days ago...

It's nice having my own. My herniated disc is causing me all sorts of leg pain, so I've been using a couple times a day in various places to ease the pain. This post is to tell of my results with the TENS units so if someone is having some pains they can look into getting one of these things instead of buying those ridiculous heat pads in a box.

There's a difference in me posting RANDOM things that have some info, and other topics that have no substance (yes, like the Racism thread I started, which I said could be deleted because I realized it was a pointless thread).

In case you don't realize the purpose of this forum I'll re-iterate what is said up top:

In no way am I trying to sell you anything I just thought you might like to know: (added this part half way through because as I was proof reading I sounded like a sales rep....)

If you need heat or cold therapy you might want to ask your doctor about a Vascu Therm unit, its another product sold by the company I work at. We are a west coast provider but I am sure there is a provider in your area. Vascu therm units provide Cold therapy, Heat therapy, compression therapy, contrast, and Dvt. Its kinda like an all in one unit, but it works great from the feed back I get from patients. The only down side is the unit is expensive, thus insurances company's only usually cover rentals, but its something to look more into and ask your doctor about.
