Got a start on the deer jerky.

I hope that dehydrater doesn't use heat at all. Otherwise you're not really making jerky.

If it does use a heater, just go buy a half dozen furnace air filters from lowes, stack them up with meat in between, and bungie cord them to a box fan.

I want some spicy and i'm willing to pay. I would, however, like to wait for other members to try theirs first and give it a few days as to make sure it is safe for consumption.
You know yours would be safe for consumption, Preston. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Would you give him the extra seasoning?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You may have to shoot another deer or two if the demand stays like this.
Demand won't. I just tried some. I think I am going to keep it all myself.

haha

It is pretty darn good if I must say so myself. I think a lot of hindquarters this year may be turned into jerky.

A dehydrator full of meat only gave me about a pound of jerky.

I have some "spicy" marinating now.

recipe called for:

Soy sauce

Salt

Hot sauce

Minced Garlic

Maple Syrup

Ginger

and i threw some Hickory seasoning in there
