Got a new toy...Exile Xtec 12

This will be my temporary sub until the SI BM comes out. The install for it is less than ideal because I built my box for the BM so it will be a little too small for the Exile but I'm sure I'll get by just fine. I may have it installed later tonight. Unfortunately I'm waiting to get a replacement Arc Mini for the frontstage so I won't really be able to give any impressions on it until next week.

Hehe I hope that doesn't happen because I don't have enough space for a proper sized box for it.

I also plan on trying out RE's new flat sub so who knows what I will eventually end up keeping. I still think it will be the BM since SQ is the primary concern and that seems to be what it's about.

Nice looking but in the 4th pic the basket looks bent where the mounting screw goes.

I am sure it is just a visual thing due to the curve or the gasket is just pushed up or down in soem areas.

It looks like a cool sub, but the coil appears to be pretty small.

No, I bought it through a dealer. He said normally they go for about $180 but either them or Exile was having a sale, I don't remember. How much did they used to be?
