Got a new car

That's way too nice of a car to be making that much money. It's just bad finance. Toys are great if you can afford them but if you are halving your income from your car alone its time to reconsider your priorities....
He's 17????!?!?!!?! When you are 17, and have a job, money management isn't really of concern...

Well said, yet if he is making between 1700 and 2200 a month with both his jobs, then 650 isn't half.
Still paying that much for a car and insurance is crazy. Hell I had 3 cars at one time and was paying 585 bucks all together....with insurance, lol!

1999 S-10(Lease)- 150 a month from GM special at the time.

1984 Toyota Corolla hatch show car-Owed 2000 on it and was paying 175 to pay off.

1964 Chevy Impala show car- owed quite a bit, but sold it for more than I had into it, lol! Was paying 100 smacks a month due to my dad paying the rest, still car was under my name and insured by me.

Then insurance on all at that time for me was 160. Multi car discount FTW! That was with Victoria insurance and when I was 21 too, lol!
Was paying 580 on my car when I was 20. in my opinion it doesnt matter, whatever makes you happy. My lease also wasnt for 6 years either, but regardless, he wanted it, he got it and should enjoy it. Sure he could have got something cheaper and been paying less, but wheres the fun in that?

omfg. You already ***** about your insurance and that was with the blazer. Now step up to a 340HP hemi charger. You are ****ing retarded. Seriously. No Im not ****ing kidding. You are retarded. Like dumb *** straight off the ****ing short bus with a helmet on your head retarded.

I agree with whatever makes you happy, however I put myself in a lot of debt when I was younger. I do ok now, but have been through a lot of BS stuff. I see nothing wroung with trying to help someone out when there that young, however I am sure he is enjoying his new ride and what not, just as I have and you have. In my case it caught up with me in a hurry. I don't do the dumbshit I used to do. You live and you learn.

That made no sense. You havent even been here a month yet so gtfo.
i've been here a lot longer than you think. you just don't know who i am, due to the different name. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm a 3.0 student now, 28 on my ACT, already accepted into the college of my choice.
Good luck with the new car. Just don't get yourself into anymore debt. They say its recommended that you spend no more than 20% of your monthly income on your car. And in about 2 or 3 years you will owe more than its worth. So make sure to take care of it and keep it running. GL.
