got a couple of db drag questions

well ill be picking up a 2008 toyota yaris hatch in a week or two and was thinking about competing i wanted to do 2 10s what class would that put me in and what are some of the basic rules?

is there an amp limit?

battery limit?

wire amount?

i wanted to do this basically like a crx and see if i could stay some what competetive around my area any help would be greatful

Yaris with 2) 10s is perfect for Street A.

In that class you are limited to one battery in stock location. And limited to one amp. You can use a big amp like the Hifonics Maxximus. And you can use 2) 10s or 1) 12

Only wire limit is on speaker wire to the amp. You can only have one positive and one negetive so your subs will have to be in parallel.

The only other rules are that everything must remain stock. So you cant modify your interior panels for strength. Car has to be off during competition. And you are limited on sound deadener.

Yes that would be illegal, that would put you in SS 1-2 or Street Max class

No removing the seat, it can be folded. But the install cannot affect the normal intended use of the vehicle. The box has to be in the hatch area and the rear seat needs to be able to fold up and down like it was intended. A Yaris will be a very good street a vehicle and will do well locally but the CRX's rule street a and b. Street C is a split between Explorers and Crx's.
