you dont ever wonder how fast your car will go.

Take it to the dragstrip.

Take it to an abandoned airport.

Take it anywhere other than on a public highway.

Don't mistake my meaning, fella ~ I truly understand being a speed freak considering I have more than a touch of that particular affliction myself.

But running that fast anywhere that it potentially endangers unsuspecting motorists (and do not kid yourself.....if you're running that hard in Houston somewhere you're endangering other people's lives by doing so) is ignorant and there's no two ways around that.

aren impound lots open 24 hours a day. i have givin a random group of people a ride to one when they got towed from a car. it was late and they were open. and i dont see what the big deal is with speeding, maybe its because i live in such a big down. but 20 30 over is common place here. when the freeways are not full you can catch people cruisin 80ish or more all the time. and just this weekend i was in the middle of a line of cars doin 150 plus.

yea, it was a short period of my life, once i got over it i was just young.

well if your on a highway there should be (at least in my area) 2-5 other lanes for you to choose. i tend to drive on the far right as not to deal with the idiots that want to drive as fast as possible.

Well last night on the way home from the movies i got a ticket for 101 in a 70 , 3 seperate tickets and my truck was impounded. So i had to wake my parents up last night to go get my truck because im 17 and its in my moms name. So how should i get them less pissed at me.??

This is one of the reasons we (being drivers under 25) pay such a high insurance rate. Slow down there is no reason to have to do 100mph.

The Interstates are that way through Louisiana as well.

Through some cities they'll widen to 3 lanes per direction but the majority of them are two-lane. I-20, I-10, I-49, and all the various bypasses around different cities such as I-110, I-220, etc.

get a radar detector and laser jammer...when I had the evo tthose two things kept me outa cuffs multiple times...but seriouly going that fast is stupid....i am lucky i never wrecked or killed anyone or myself....

if you are talkin about me. the car pulled all the way to the top of 4th stock. with is 140ish. im pretty much puttin down at the wheels, what my car was rated at stock. and i have a much steeper gear. and so far its pulls till i let off the gas.
