ok, my amp's power terminal keeps comming off, i've fixed it about 3 times now and im getting tired of this shit...
i went ahead and re-arranged my trunk at the expense of output (moved it wayyyy foward) so i would have room to put the amp on the floor of the trunk instead of ontop of the box...
now i re-soldered the terminal back on (dident do a "cold joint" this time) and its pretty snug on there but i went ahead and used a q-tip with some gorilla glue on it to follow the edges of the power terminal where it meets the silicon to give it some extra tough-ness.. i suppose i shouldve asked BEFORE i had done so but i was just tired of bassless ... so is this safe?
i just dont want to have to keep buying fuses everytime the power term comes off and touches against the ground
also you dont suppose a 60amp fuse would work on a modded 81000D would ya( i could keep the gains low mayby)? yes i know its supposed to have a 150amp'er but spending $10 every ****ing time a fuse goes is startin to add up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
