Dont buy "budget" amps for your front stage. If you do make sure to buy one with lots of overhead, and in that case you probably could have spent a little extra change and picked up a decent amp in the first place. Ive seen it all too many times where Sony, Hifonics, Profile, Lanzar, etc. amps are used and the person ends up dissatisfied with the sound quality. It happened in the girl's car. Her mom wanted to go cheap so she told me to run a cheap sony. SQ was less than desireable. So I sold the sony and picked up a used alpine fro ma friend with half the rated power and SQ improved 100%.
I beleive whole heartedly that amps can cause more distortion to the signal you finnally hear than the speakers themselves, contrary to what people beleive or are taught. This is only when using cheap equiptment.
For bass, cheap power doesnt shot a noticable change in SQ untill you reach high levels (at least to my ears)...for your front stage, it's best to do it right the first time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
