Good Tweeters?

Hi, please excuse my ignorance since I really don't know anything about car audio. My brother in law installed my system. I found some good prices on tweeters on Ebay but he says that the quality of sound in tweeters is not that much different. He told me I should just stick to the 30 dollar tweeters that they sell in Walmart. Do you guys agree? If not, what are some good tweeters out there?

tweeters make a HUGE difference. I'd stick to some good silk dome tweets they're less harsh. I have some alums right now and they're really good but a little bit too harsh for most people. I still like them though. I have a set of infinity perfects 6.1's they were about 200 for the comp set.

What I'm trying to do? Just replace the tweeters that I got at Walmart for better quality ones. I think I'll try to find some silk ones but most of them are pretty expensive. My price range is about 30-40.

i bought some jl tr sreies tweets and am pleased with them...not harsh at all and well worth the $50 i paid for them

yea please save yourself an extra step by not getting the infinitys cuz you'll want to toss them. i went from those to the 1" cdt silks and my ears thank me

I personally hate the infinity tweeters; there did not get high enough for me.

I think those were the ones i bought off you also(cant find the box right now). (i bought them off you back in sept) Havent installed them yet waiting on my new car.

Were do you get them : directly from him. I ordered mine from him with no problems.
