Good tune for a D.D. s10

mines at 36 and hits the lows pretty well. The lowest bass note on "put on" makes them subs wabble a whole lot and still flexex crap in my car.

I listen to alot of diff. music, almost everything... a lot of tool some hollywood undead house music. I know the type of music matters but im not doing any comps I just want to get loud and sound good and hit low

Im redoing the box for my 10"s so I think Im going subs & ports up... When I go bigger (next few months) Ill do another re-build and thats when Ill worry about port placement

I read something about s10's sound better with a certian tune... I forget where

only reason i would do down firing subs, is if i had space constraints and no other way to mount them.

tried it at 29 hertz and 35 hertz ,truck flexed massively but my dd 3512e didnt like the lows , made them dropout and flatten the bottom of my voice coils

down firing was loudest in my setup, but that was competting in MECA which meters at head rest

i am doing a 1986 s10 ext cab, check the build log

does 150+ at 30hz with single 15

I dont know alot about freq. tuning thats why Im asking so plz dont take me the wrong way but from what i've been reading low 40s is for comps

Will that still be ok for a daily... I wouldnt mind loud as possible I just dont want to run my subs ragged
