Good Trade or No?

I have an Orion XTR Pro 2400 amp and I have a buddy who wants to trade me a T30001BD missing the cover and no bass knob. I thought it sounded good just wanted to get some input. Although I would have to switch my setup atm I am running a single DD9515F D4.

i'd like to see a head to head with those two amps... the xtr pro2400 is a balls out amp.

Yeah I mean I hear the 2400 can do like 3600+ @ 1ohm but you need good electrical to get it to run that low or kiss it bye,bye. I have a 200amp alt and 2 optima batts I don't know if that Orion would pop or not and I rather not risk it. And I would have to either recone or trade for different sub I been wanting to go back to a 12 so I was thinking of a 9512g on that 3000 since I know its 1ohm stable. Decisions,decisions......

A good electrical system and probably 18 volts. Who said it will do 3600 watts?

hell no..if that xtr is in good shape id keep that...2400@2...just imagine what it could do at 1..dont know about 3600 but very easily possible to get 3k out of it...and it prolly looks better than the rockford..old school>new school

Tempting but I will pass I barely have room for my 1 15 let alone 2 12's hehe. But I really appreciate the offer.
