Empornium or PureTNA for ****; MiniNova for general.

edit: You'll have a hard time finding consistent and reliable trackers that don't use some form of ratio...it helps maintain a base of seeders.

Yeah, they cap my speed to something ridiculous. My upload is 1.5 - 2 megabits but I can't even seed. If they see me having a constant upload they cap. The argue that it's violating the terms of service and acting as a server, that their network is setup up for burst uploads and I was affecting other peoples service.

So when I download torrents I get them really fast and then have no way to upload them without screwing myself.

It's happened twice already and one more time and they say I will have to talk to the security division. There was no letter. This is cablevision with their optimum online product (cable).

I have the same problem as you man. Upload during the night time hours from like 12-6am. They seem to not cap during those hours (considering hardly anyone is up)

You'll eventually get your ratio back to 1.0.

You can set a schedule in uTorrent to seed only during certain times. Also, set your download limit low so you can upload at the same time making your ratio greater. It's a pain in the *** I know, but it works.

yeah. I've got about 100 dvd movies downloaded now, as well as a buncha music and crap. but with comcast, you get a letter saying you're basically hurting others around you (since you share bandwidth with neighbors kinda) YET they cannot give you a number that you should stay below, they just say that you are using too much. pretty gay imo but im not paying for it either, or else i would have looked into better options.

comcast filters torrent traffic, or at least they have been/were. Tons of people left them for that reason.

I've used utorrent since I started. Tried Azureus for a few days but it's too flashly and takes up too many system resources. uTorrent is about 500kB big, and that's the program. No installing. Very simple and very effective.
