Good Subs that hit hard

Hey guys when I am looking for a sub what do I need to look for in hard hitting is it the RMS like now I have 2 Memphis 10s 250rms 500 peak but they just don't give that loud let you know when I am coming bass that I am looking for any suggestions?

SSA DCON's are prob ure best bet for ure power range. there 300rms

Are you looking to just change subs and enclosures or are you wanting to swap out amps and wire and such? Also what kind of vehicle do you have and what is the current enclosure your subs are in?

I think Rabbit is getting at, instead of change just subs which at that level really wont make a difference. Focus on the box, its the key

yea i didnt think about that, a new box is prob all u really need. We'll need box measurements and sub model number, so we can see how ure current box is playing

Plus amp and wiring information. Make sure to include model number and how its wired, thoughs memphis can get pretty loud in proper box im sure

What amp are your subs on? You may be wanting to get louder than what your system is actually capable of. How much power are you actually putting to your subs?
