Hey all,

in pursuit of my budget SQ system for my saab i am now in the process of picking out front components. My budget is 100-120. As of right now i am leaning to CDT CL-S60A which is on sale at woofers etc right not for 99.00 shich seems to be a good deal.

Anyother input for speakers in my price range?

Also need 6x9s for rear fill and didnt want to spend more than 100 as well. was thinking mb quart discus line. Any dissent or advice about that?

hmmm....

well i have only heard good things about the cdt components but the lower end models... would like to hear from anyone who has had personal listening experience.. I know for 100-120 dollars i can only expect so much but want to do as good as i can.

I used to have a set of the CDT EF-61CF comps that I really liked. But I put a set of the CDT CL-61 comps in my wife's car and wasn't all that impressed.

I replaced them with a set of the Phoenix Gold RSD comps, and they were much better for a little less ($87 shipped, http://www.audiosavings.com).

I have a set of the CL's one of my cars and my brother is using them too and they sound excellent. Nice midbass, smooth silk tweeters, very defined vocals and they can take plenty of power.

6x9s for rear fill as that is what the factory location will fit.
