Hey,

I am purchasing some Phoenix Gold RSD 65cs 6.5's for my Honda Civic Si 2000 as soon as I find a place that will ship to Canada.

I am stuck on an amp, I would like to put about 120-140 watts fer component, and possible a 4 channel amp incase I want rear fill( still debating, gonna see how it sounds first)

What is there for suggestion, I am not rich working minimum wage and in school, so I price range is up to 200..

There is the;

Or what other suggestions do you have?

I'm no pro with car audio, but I take my time and read up. I would consider used ones if its a good deal, in good condition and will ship to Canada.

Thanks guys!

BTW: I'm all about the sound quality...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Well I know, but you know what I mean.

The PG RSD's aren't rated for anywhere close to 200 watts though, not even the 125-150 on the 4 channel? Will it damage them?

Also, I nned something that can handle 2 gauge groud/power

I'm in the same situation as you Bryce...

I was personally eyeballing a few amps:

Lanzar OPTI200X4 (125w RMS x 4 @ 4 Ohms) - http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=OPTI200X4

Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4 (200w RMS x 4 @ 4 Ohms) - Seems to be hard to find it.

JBL GTO75.4 II (104w RMS x 4 @ 4 Ohms) - http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=GTO75.4%20II&Language=ENG&Country=US&Region=USA&cat=AMP&ser=GTS

The JBL seemed to be a nice budget pick, but you and me both want more than just 104w RMS per channel.

set of comps up front should be all you need. i have an 05 civic with only one comp set up front and it sounds great. plent of sound for the entire cabin.
