are the loud mufflers legal.. i see that people have them but always heard you can get stop for them? and if i go to a muffler shop what do i ask them so i don't sound stupid...

i have a greddy sp2 on my prelude and it wasnt ricey at all until i broke the pipiing right before my muffler (dam speed bump). Probably one of the best sounding exhausts ive ever heard on a n/a honda
