Question is: when you use the TL to know what frequencies predominate in a song, do you necessarily have to play the song through the car audio system, specifically through the subs? If so, would it not matter if the subs are in a sealed vs. ported enclosure?

Or can the TL software analyze the song even by just playing the CD through a laptop?

enclosure doesnt affect the freqs in a song. and i already pm you about just playing a cd

You want a consistent note for at least 30 seconds. Thats the way to achieve the loudest score. Fluctuating frequencies will bring the score down.
