That still doesn't say much. What type of programmer, what OS/environment, what language, the field, etc. You can say stuff like that without "leaking" specifics. Just saying you need a programmer is pretty vague.

You could say, I need a programmer that is willing to program in assembly language on a Motorola 68k family chip; interfacing with this & that & so on.
