Good remote starter

What's a good remote starter that comes with lock/unlock features? Would rather not get an alarm just cause it would be a huge pain to install but if it's cheap I'll consider it. Would like to pay around $50

You mean without the alarm? Yeah they are just cheaper. The ones with 2-way alarms are like $70+, and I don't live in a place known for stealing (I don't play music loud unless I'm on the open roads so no one would know I have shit, plus my vehicle is tinted)

Avital. They're owned by DEI who also owns Viper. They make decent budget remote starts that can be had on amazon for less than $50. I put one in my moms car a few years back and haven't had any problems with it.

hmm maybe I should get one for my mom, never did because she always sets the fricken alarms off and unlocks the doors in her pocket.

I put some no named one in my car and it works great.

The range is good it works fine with no problems.

It costs about $40

It has the door lock outputs on it as well.

Sure why not. There is an avital one for $50 on sonic that I have been looking at. How far can you be away and it still work?

I have not tested it yet as far as the range.

I will say it starts the car from inside my house without pointing the remote towards a window or towards the car.

I even put the sensor behind the tint which the instructions says not to do.

Also I like a lot that the sensor has a blue light that flashes it is very bright and because it is mounted up high on the windshield and points down it lights up the dash. I actually got rid of the red led that came with my alarm as this one looks better and is much brighter.

The box is out in my workshop, I will grab it later when I go out there.

the one I have is made by Directed and says it has a range of 1,500 ft

Anyone use this or know if it's decent? There is another one that is the same thing and the buttons are neon, but the reviews are good.
