Good place?

Im wondering if its a good idea to put an amp in the spare tire area or no? I want it to be outta the way, yet accesible if i have to get to it? Will it overheat in there?

If you're going to be covering the spare tire area with something (as I assume you will be), then it's not ideal. You want airflow over the amp. Realistically, unless you're really pounding on the thing it shouldn't be a problem. Would I do it? Hell no. Mount it on under a front seat, on the back of the backseat, etc.

Is the spare tire well sealed off? The amp needs to have decent airflow, if you suffocate it, it could overheat...

Put a couple fans down there for air flow if you do decide to do it.
