good picks?

well he wants 320 for those, and the ones on this forum are 300... idk if im better off buying brand new type rs for pretty much the same price... but why not get type xs instead of type rs?

You definitely wont get very much bass out of type r's, I can personally guarantee that, and when you get in the type x price range, there is a wide range of speakers that are better.

now when upgrading from 4 guage to 0 guage, do i have to upgrade the whole kit, so i would have to buy a whole new 0 guage kit.

or should i do that anyways, so i can use the 4 guage to run an amp for my speakers later?

You should only need to buy 3 things, the 0 gauge wire itself, a distribution block (fused is best) that accepts 0 gauge inputs and 4 gauge outputs, and an inline fuse holder that accepts 0 gauge.

you can use your current 4 gauge from the distribution block to the amps to save money, and you;ll need a second set of RCA's when you get the second amp.

I recommend Knukonceptz.com for the distro block and fuse holder, they let you choose what fuse you need and have good prices.

Just get the SKars that I linked you to bro. I promise you're not gonna find a better deal.
those subs are gonna cost me $310, and thats if i buy them right now which im not. i appreciate the post though.

but for 100 or so more i can get 2 new ones, ( when the time comes to purchase )

underfire:

how does the distributer block work? since thers 4 guage running from bat to amp now, does that stay like that? or do i run 0 guage over the 4 guage, and both the 0 guage and the 4 guage hook into the block? with it hooked to the battery with 0 guage?

thanks

You run 0 from the battery, then at the block it goes in, and 2 4's come out the other side.

They are 130 bucks each, for a pair it'd run you $260 for the subs... I haven't a clue where you're coming up with $310, but these are the exact same thing mechanically, as any other BNIB one. minor cosmetic defects may be apparent.

That's an example of my b-stock sub. If not having that is worth $50 more each, plus tax, plus shipping... which would probably come out to being closer to $200 more, then by all means, wait till you have the cash. But otherwise, you're not gonna find a better subwoofer for what you're looking for, at anywhere near a better deal.

Not trying to force you into anything, But it's a sub that you'll absolutely love, at a price that you'll regret passing up.
