hmmm... just adding that foam will help? I dont really want to put the time/money into deadening doors right now. The money:difference ratio just isnt there for me at this point in time. That foam I could definitely do though. My doors dont rattle at all and they are pretty solid too. And they dont have holes.
And I think I have already talked to him about sealing and brackets before.
Yes. It will help, tremendously. And the amount of deadener needed for doors is very small. If you can afford the gear you have, you can afford 30 bucks in deadener.

Its about install not gear.
^this. I have cdt's basic, entry level speakers... however, they are installed nicely, and they flippin jam.

What deadener would you suggest? Didnt realize it could be that cheap.

 
blocking noise will NOT increase midbass punch. Deading/sealing large holes in the doors will help some, so I'd do that first.

If still not happy consider stepping up to a better set of speakers and try to demo them before buying.
