Good mono amp?

What would be a good mono amp or amp period to run 2 RF P312D4 SUBS?

Ive already checked out some amps but i just dont know exactly how much power i need from the amp becasue ill be wiring the subs to 1 ohm and there max power says 1000w each?

Do you already have the subs? It would probably be easier to find an amp to work with two dual 2ohm subs, that way you could wire them to present an impedance of 2ohms to the amp.

Yeh i already have the subs, but my amp now doesnt have enough power and its overheats alot and i was told i need to go with a mono with more POWER/WATTS

Definitely go with Boss over Orion.

I was thinkin the boss, because its cheapers and puts out more watts and theres no feedback from the orions if they are good or not and ive read feedbacks on the boss's and i guess they are pretty good, so maybe ill try it out

And just to let you know, regardless of what the specs say, that Boss actually puts out double it's rated power, and is stable down to .5 ohms.

Ok, to the op...use the search button! If you searched Orion in this forum, and then searched Boss, you would have countless posts to read, and therefore, you would be able to make an informed decision.

Now that I got that out of the way. I'll list some quality brands you might want to look into.

Rockford Fosgate

Hifonics

Kicker

You get any one of those brands, you will be happy. They all have solid build quality, and solid reputations. I could list more, but I really don't think you need a bigger list than that.
