Any amps around the same price as the profile AP1000M amp, about under $150(like stuff on ebay) and i looked around and profile seemed to be the cheapest amps with the most rms i could find and i heard a lot of good things about them. Do u think the rms on that amp is a good match, because i was just wondering if it would be better to have an amp that has a rms rating a little under than the rms of the subs or if it would be ok to have an amp with a higher a rms rating than my subs.

i'd also like to know about the rms rating specifications....is it ok to go a little over and if so how far....whats wrong with the profile ap1000m amp exactly?

well it depends on the sub, usually you can give a sub over its rms rating and be fine. the type r has a 500w rms rating and people are giving em 1200 watts.

i just bought the ap1000m for $89 on ebay, its supose to be in tommrow i can't wait, i've heard alot of people say its a good amp and if you look at crutchfield the overall rating of 12 people was i think 4 1/2 out of 5

when u get that can u post ur opinion of it....i'm planning on buying the amp i just want to know how hard it actually hits.....what kind of vehicle are you putting it in and what kind of subs are you using
